For over 60 years, thousands of students have received a Christ-centered education at Regina. It is the commitment of the Regina Foundation to ensure future generations of students continue to receive a quality Catholic K-12 education at Regina.
The Regina Catholic Education Center appreciates every gift and we have many ways to demonstrate our gratitude for donor generosity.
Impact Report
The annual Impact Report of the Regina Catholic Education Center & Foundation is the primary publication that highlights giving to Regina. Gifts made by donors from July 1 – June 30 to one or more of the following areas receive recognition:
- Excellence Fund
- Pride in Our Past, Building Our Future Capital Campaign
- Endowed Funds/Scholarships
- Legacy Gifts (Estate/Bequests)
- Memorial & Honorary Gifts
- Life Insurance Policy Premiums
- Regina Special Events
- Regina Parent-Led Organizations
Donors may also receive recognition in various other print and electronic communications.
GIVING SOCIETIES
The following societies exist to honor various gifts of generosity directed toward the Regina Foundation:
1958 Society
In honor of Regina’s 60th Anniversary, the Regina Foundation has established the 1958 Society to recognize Regina Catholic Education Center’s most loyal donors who contribute every year. Membership in this special community begins with a donor’s fifth consecutive annual gift and continues with ongoing yearly support. Gifts of ANY amount to the EXCELLENCE FUND (formerly the annual appeal) qualify a donor for the Society.
The Regina Foundation is proud to acknowledge 1958 Society members at the following levels:
- Milestone — 5 to 9 years of consecutive giving
- Charter — 10 or more years of consecutive giving
Cornerstone Club
The Regina Foundation‛s EXCELLENCE FUND (formerly the annual appeal) is the best way parishioners, alumni, parents, grandparents, business partners and friends can support the Foundation in its mission. Annual gifts are generally expended in the same fiscal year in which they were received unless restricted to an endowment. The Cornerstone Club recognizes those donors who give $1,000 or more to the Excellence Fund during the most current fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).
Gifts at this level are the cornerstone of the Fund’s annual giving efforts, championing the need for consistent support. Donor generosity through an EXCELLENCE FUND gift is crucial to help meet the spiritual and academic needs of our youth through the ministry of Catholic education. These donors furnish leadership support on an annual basis, helping to provide steady funding for the school.
Living the Promise Society
A planned and deferred giving program was officially launched in 2005 with the celebration of the first annual Living the Promise Society reception and official induction of charter members. The Living the Promise Society recognizes individuals who have made a life income gift or bequest provision in their estate and deferred-giving plans directed to the Regina Foundation (and notified the Foundation of their intentions).
Such long-term objectives ensure the continued strength and growth of educational programs at the Regina Inter-Parish Catholic Education Center. There are currently over 130 Living the Promise Society members.
DONOR RECOGNITION EVENTS
Each year in the spirit of gratitude, appreciation and celebration for both individual and collective gifts, we endeavor to honor donor generosity in a variety of settings:
Alumni Awards
The Regina Alumni Awards are an annual celebration of alumni who exemplify what it means to be a “Regina Diamond” through their leadership, achievement, service and generosity (time, talent or treasure) to the community. Through the Distinguished Honorary Alumni Award, we also honor those who are not Regina alumni, but who have contributed greatly to Regina.
Donor Appreciation Celebration
Held each fall, this annual event honors Giving Society members, Scholarship Benefactors and Pride in Our Past, Building Our Future Capital Campaign Donors.
Celebration of Scholarships
This festive luncheon, held annually in May, brings together financial aid benefactors with students who benefit from their support.
